Automatic temperature alarm: When the temperature rises to a certain value, the mercury surface in the mercury thermometer rises to the metal wire, where mercury is a conductor. Therefore, the electromagnetic circuit is connected, and the electromagnetic coil attracts the spring plate, causing the bell circuit to close. The bell rings an alarm. When the temperature drops, the mercury surface leaves the metal wire, the electromagnetic circuit is disconnected, the spring plate returns to its original state, the bell circuit is disconnected, and the bell no longer sounds.
